A rescue dog who had abused by her previous owner has struck up a strong bond with a baby. Ahh.
Nora, an English Pointer, was rescued by Elizabeth Spence from her local dog shelter, after being abused earlier in her life.
In fact, according to Elizabeth, Archie is pretty much the only human Nora isn’t afraid of.
The pair are often snapped napping side by side and enjoy playing together. They even occasionally let the family cats and other pooch join in. Elizabeth has now decided to share the heart-warming photos with the world, via an Instagram account, which already has almost 100,000 followers.
A cute baby and a cute dog, what’s not to love? This might be my new favourite Insta account, to be honest.
Elizabeth, who has three children, reckons Nora gets on so well with Archie because he’s so chilled.
She told the Dodo: “Archie is an extremely laid-back, happy, good-natured baby and all the animals seem to really respond to that, particularly Nora.
“She came from an abusive background and is afraid of almost everything. Not Archie, though. She absolutely adores him!
Because some things in life are just too good to share 😜 . Now that it's summer break, we're out pretty much 24/7 and the toddler snacks from @nurturme have become Archie's go-to snack throughout the day. In addition to being highly portable and non-perishable, they're organic, non-gmo and free of added sugars and preservatives. I LOVE this. They're pretty darned tasty, too, so it's a win-win for both Archie and me ❤️ #tummyfriendly . #rescuedog #adoptdontshop
“If Archie is having a bath, Nora is lying on the bath mat waiting for him to get out. If I’m nursing him she wants up on my lap, too.”
